About Stacks
Stacks at stackscrm.com is a CRM and business workspace for people running small businesses. It brings contacts, follow-ups, email, invoicing, scheduling, reviews, support and tasks into one place.
Why did Chad build Stacks?
Stacks was built by Chad Altman after years of growing his companies on platforms that started affordably but became increasingly expensive as the businesses grew. Paying for separate tools was frustrating enough. Watching the bill climb as those tools became more central to the business made him want a different approach.
From $19 a month to more than $2,000
One experience stayed with him: Chad says he started using Mailchimp at $19 a month. Two years into building his email list, he was paying more than $2,000 a month. Those figures describe his own experience at the time, not Mailchimp's current pricing or what every customer pays.
That frustration helped shape Stacks: keep the core business tools free as a company grows, with unlimited users and contacts. Businesses can choose paid AI features or discuss a custom platform when they need them. Adding a teammate or growing a contact list should not, by itself, force an upgrade to the core CRM.

How do you get started?
The core platform is Free with unlimited users and contacts. Free includes 50 one-time AI credits for supported features. If you want continued use of those AI features after the credits are used, AI Pro is optional. For specialized workflows or integrations, Stacks Custom begins with an enquiry and a defined scope; it is not an automatic part of Free or AI Pro. See current plan details.
