Take a tour of your dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see when you log in to Stacks — a single-page snapshot of your business. Four headline numbers up top, your task list and a live activity feed below, and a heads-up on the deals about to close. Here's what every part of it means and how to move around from it.
Your first workflow
The first-workflow panel guides you through adding a lead and preparing a useful follow-up. Its links depend on your permissions and account progress. Use Hide to remove the whole panel, even before completion. Show first workflow restores it. This preference is saved in this browser for your workspace and user; clearing browser storage resets it. Expanding or collapsing only changes the detail area.
Before you start
- You just need to be logged in to your Stacks workspace — the dashboard is the first thing you land on after signing in.
- The dashboard reflects your CRM data, so it's most useful once you've added a few contacts, deals and tasks. A brand-new workspace starts mostly empty, and that's normal.
- Everyone can see it. Every role — admin, manager, member, even a view-only user — has dashboard access.
Step by step
- Open your dashboard. After you log in, Stacks drops you straight onto it. To come back any time, click CRM in the left sidebar and then 📈 Dashboard at the top of the menu.
- Read your four headline numbers. The top row is four stat cards: Pipeline Value (the total value of your open deals, with the open-deal count beneath it), Weighted Value (that pipeline adjusted by each deal's stage probability — your realistic forecast), Won This Month (the value of deals marked won since the 1st, and how many closed), and Total Contacts (everyone in your CRM, plus how many you added this month).
- Work your task list. The Tasks card shows your tasks, grouped as Overdue, Due Today and Upcoming (the next seven days). Tick a checkbox to mark one done without leaving the page, or click View All to open the full task list.
- Scan Recent Activity. The Recent Activity feed lists the 15 most recent actions across your account — what happened, who did it, and how long ago — so you can catch up on what your team's been doing at a glance.
- Check what's Closing Soon. When you have open deals with an expected close date in the next 30 days, a Closing Soon table appears with each deal's name, its contact, its value and the close date. Click any deal name to open it.
- Jump anywhere from the sidebar. The left sidebar's module tabs — CRM, Invoicing, Email, Scheduling, Support, Reviews and Automations — take you across Stacks, and the CRM section adds quick links to Contacts, Companies, Pipeline, Deals, Insights and Tasks.
Current behavior
Agents is a separate main-navigation module. Its first page is Approvals, where authorized administrators review agent-requested actions. Automations remains the place for configured event-driven workflows.
Good to know
- The dashboard fills itself in. A fresh workspace shows empty states and $0 until you add contacts, deals and tasks — that's expected, not a bug.
- Weighted Value is stage-based. Each open deal counts for its value times the probability set on its current pipeline stage, so keeping your stage probabilities realistic sharpens the forecast.
- The Tasks card is personal. You see tasks assigned to you or that you created — not the whole team's. Overdue and Upcoming each show up to five items. The stat cards and activity feed, by contrast, reflect the whole account.
- "This month" resets on the 1st. Both Won This Month and the +N this month on Total Contacts count from the first of the current month.
- Widgets hide when they're empty. Task sections only appear when they have items, and Closing Soon only shows up when a deal is due within 30 days.
