How to share and embed your booking link

Every public appointment type in Stacks comes with its own booking link and a matching embed code — both waiting on the Appointment Types page. Copy the link to share it anywhere a customer might see it, or paste the embed code to drop a self-service scheduler right onto your website. Either way, guests pick an open slot and book themselves, and it's free on every plan.

Before you start

• You'll need at least one appointment type that's both Active and Public. The booking link and embed code only appear for public, active types — a type that's inactive or private shows a dash instead of a link.
• Creating and publishing appointment types is an admin or manager action. (Anyone on your team can view the Appointment Types list.)
• Your booking link lives on your own Stacks address — for example yourbiz.stackscrm.com/booking/intro-call. There's nothing else to set up; the page is ready the moment the type is active and public.

Step by step

1. Make the type Active and Public. Go to Scheduling → Appointment Types and open the type you want to share (or click + New Type to create one). Near the bottom of the form, make sure both Active and Public (show on booking page) are ticked, then save. Only public, active types get a shareable link.
2. Open the Appointment Types list. Back on Scheduling → Appointment Types, find your type's row. The Booking URL column holds two ready-made fields: the full booking link on top, and the embed code just beneath it.
3. Copy your booking link. Click the top field — the URL that looks like https://yourbiz.stackscrm.com/booking/intro-call. Clicking selects and copies it in one go. Now paste it wherever your customers are: an email or signature, your Instagram or LinkedIn bio, a text message, a QR code, or a "Book now" button.
4. Prefer it on your own site? Copy the embed code. Click the second, smaller field to copy the embed snippet — two short lines: a placeholder div and a script tag that pulls in the scheduler.
5. Paste the embed code into your website. Drop those two lines into your site's HTML wherever you want the calendar to appear — a WordPress or Squarespace block, a Wix or Webflow embed, or a hand-coded page. The scheduler renders inline, and visitors book without ever leaving your site.

Good to know

• Both point to the same calendar. Whether a guest uses the shared link or the embedded widget, they're booking the same appointment type — and it lands in your CRM the same way, finding-or-creating the customer's contact and opening a deal.
• The widget stays out of your site's way. It renders inside its own isolated container, so your website's fonts and styles won't bleed into it and it won't disturb your page. It even picks up the color you set on the appointment type.
• It runs on any website. The embed is a single script tag with cross-origin loading enabled, so it works on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, or plain HTML. Paste it on as many pages as you like.
• The shared page carries the full experience. The hosted booking link includes optional notes, intake questions, a deposit or payment step, and the video-meeting link. The lightweight embedded widget keeps it to name, email and phone — so for types that ask intake questions or take a deposit, share the link rather than the embed.
• Renaming changes the link. A type's link is built from its name, so if you rename the type the URL can change and older copies of the link stop resolving. After a rename, re-copy the fresh booking URL and embed code.
